Left on Sun afternoon. Rented a car from JB. Had some nice sunset scenery on the way up. :) Got into a crawling jam for 45 mins near seremban. Entered KL arnd 9:30 - 10 pm and decided to go explore, went to a suburb (Bangsar) to find their night market. We were really delighted to actually find it. haha.
Check out this building that we happened to chance upon as we were entering KL after Bangsar... Up till now we're not sure what it is but it's opposite Merdeka Square.
Spent a nice two days in KL exploring, went to 1-Utama to shop, berjaya times square too... everywhere's on sale now so it's actually a pretty gd time to go to KL. Went for massage at berjaya but the guy who massaged me must've pressed my back too hard cos it hurt a lot after that. Went for another massage the next day. haha. But the second guy was really gd.
The second day was nice and relaxing, went to sunway lagoon. Water park was great but the extreme park was quite a let down, they only have ATVs on a short paved track, speedboat ride (which was quite fun) and paintball shooting at targets. That's it. But the water was fun so we were happy.
At night we took the highway down to Putrajaya cos the lights there are supposed to be nice. And they were, especially the bridges. Check out this photo... the arc of lights in the middle are street lamps and the lines descending into the arc are suspension cables. Really nice.
Was a good trip, a bit tiring (think we overdid the shopping on the first day) but great fun nonetheless. =)
